Dove Chihuahua Mix Toledo, OH

Meet Dove! Dove is a 7 month old, 6 lb female chihuahua mix. She came to the rescue after her and about 15 other chihuahua mixes were dumped in a neighborhood to fend for themselves. They were trapped by a local trapper and sent to our local shelter. Dogworks pulled her and 2 others to bring into the rescue.

Dove would do best in a home with another fur friend to teach her the ropes.

She is a little shy upon meeting new people and new dogs so she will need a little time to warm up.

She loves to play fetch or just carry her ball around. When she gets excited she make a high pitch squeal which is quite comical!

Dove is a pretty calm/chill puppy for her age. She likes to run and play but also likes to snuggle either with her fur friends or her human.

She will require a fully fenced yard for her safety.

She has learned a few commands while in foster care..."come", "no", and "off".

She is potty trained and crate trained however she does not like to be in the crate. She will cry a very loud scream until you get her out. She is okay with being in a room with a baby gate.

Dove has not been around children or cats so we are unsure how she will do around them.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Her adoption fee is $400.00
