Slow and steady. I’m a social butterfly with humans (especially the girls), but when it comes to dogs... um... let’s just say I have opinions. I currently live with three dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I make sure every new dog knows I’m the boss. Yes, I show my teeth. Yes, I growl. Yes, there may be a tiny snap. But don’t worry — I’m all bark at the beginning. Because guess what? After a few days, I start to soften. And after a week? I’m actually playing with them! I guess you could say I play hard to get and make other dogs work for my affection. A lady has standards, okay? I’d absolutely thrive as an only dog since humans are my true love, but sharing a home with other dogs isn’t a dealbreaker — I just need a little time to remind them who runs the show. I am housebroken, but I have a confession... I do not appreciate the cold, snowy New Hampshire weather. I’m a little girl with little legs, and I don’t do blizzards. So sometimes, to avoid going outside, I... may do my business indoors. Look, I’m delicate! If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly, dramatic, tiny queen who will adore you (especially if you’re a woman), then I’m your girl. I’ve got a big personality in a tiny package, and my heart is just waiting for my forever person.<br/><br/>All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped.<br/>The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
