Meet Dougie

Dougie is a 30 lbs, Lhasa Apso mix, 8 to 9 years old. He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, parasite free, housebroken, good with other dogs, in car and enjoys walking on leash. Dougie doesn’t like to be grabbed, and will try to nip when feeling threatened. He is very nervous when being handled at the vet & groomer’s and may nip, therefore a muzzle should be used. Otherwise, he is sweet, very communicative, is quiet, can be aloof, likes affection on his own terms. Dougie is in need of an experienced owner who is patient, nurturing, understanding, loves animals and knows how to handle a special needs dog that is so deserving of the loving forever home.
