Must be in Rochester NY area to adopt. As this is a former puppy mill breeder dog another dog in home is required to adopt. Preference given if you have a fenced in yard.

Dotty is a three-year-old miniature Poodle who weighs 10lbs. She is UTD on all vaccines, has had dental care, is spayed and is microchipped. She joined us from a puppy mill as she wasn’t a good breeder. As she lived the first part of her life in a mill is very shy when you first get to meet her. Once she warms up to you, she wants to be near you all of the time. She is a lap dog and is trying her best to learn how to cuddle. She must have another dog in home to feel comfortable and continue to learn from.
Dotty does not play with toys much, but does like to pick them up and put them near her. She enjoys going for walks and learned how to walk on a leash very quickly! She does not pull while on a leash, and she doesn't stop to smell much either. She is semi potty trained for outdoors and will use Pee-Pads in house.
Dotty doesn't mind to be groomed or bathed. She does well with the blow dryer. Dotty likes to play dress up and enjoys wearing her foster brothers sweater a-lot!

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
