Dottie Jack Russell Terrier Mix Temple, TX

Hi! I'm Dottie! I'm about 12 weeks old and my foster mom says my forever home is out there waiting for me, so here I am! Don't worry, she says I can stay as long as it takes for them to find me. It's cool here, though. I have 3 foster dog siblings that let me hang out and play with them. We get along great! I get to go outside all the time and play with them. Sometimes I just sit by myself, chew on a good stick and ponder the meaning of life. Good times, good times. Everyone seems to think I'm a Jack Russell Terrier mix, whatever that is. I don't remember my real mom and dad so I guess they can call me whatever they want. I'm pretty sure my grandpa must've been a great big dog. That's why I'm so brave! I'm not scared of anything! (Except maybe when people walk up to me fast. It makes me think they're going to squish me!) The folks around here think I sound like a squeaky toy when I bark and they just laugh and laugh! My foster mom says she's real proud of me for sleeping so quietly all night long in my crate. Sometimes if I get tired, I just go in there by myself and go to sleep. Mom says I've been doing really good with remembering to potty outside instead of inside on the carpet. Sometimes I have to go real bad and can't hold it, but I'm getting better every day! Oh, and mom checked out a website that tells how big puppies will be when they're all grown up. I'm supposed to be a gigantic 9 whole pounds! Woohoo! I can't wait! I'm eating my puppy food like a good girl until then. Some of my favorite things to do are sleeping, playing with toys, snuggles, beauty rest, playing with other dogs, napping, chewing on sticks and dreaming.
