Meet Dot (ADOPTED!)

**DOT HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Dot is a lovely, sensitive, sweet, and beautiful puppy searching for a forever home. This adorable girl is estimated to be between 6-7 months old and weighs 35 pounds currently (1/3). We anticipate a mature weight of 50 pounds or less, so a great medium size. Pal's Place rescued Dot from an open-intake and overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky after flooding ravaged the area. A recent DNA test has determined that Dot is 40% German Shepherd, 14% Australian Cattle Dog, 13% Rough Collie, and 12% Golden Retriever, with smaller amounts of DNA coming from Eurasier and Chihuahua. All these breeds combine to create 100% perfection!

Dot can be a little bashful when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Dot loves going for walks, chewing on bones, playing with her canine foster siblings, and, most of all, she loves cuddles and snuggles more than anything else. While she is an active and playful girl, she is actually quite laid back and well-behaved for such a young herding breed pup.
She is crate trained and does well with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Remember that puppies this age and size need potty breaks every 4-6 hours, along with lots and lots of playtime throughout the day. Please consider if you truly have time for a puppy before applying.

Dot is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. She is ready and anxious to meet her new family! Dot's adoption fee to the rescue is $475. She is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved by the rescue. For more information, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com, or to complete an adoption application online, visit http://palsplacerescue.org/adopt/. We cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not apply unless you are available to meet and ready to welcome a new member into the home within three days of applying.
