Dot (FKA Kahlua) is an approximately 2 year old, 60lb, shepherd mix who was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her and her two fur siblings. We know she was loved and taken care of as the owner actually came to the shelter to say goodbye (which is a rarity at many of these rural Alabama shelters we work with). Dot is a sweet girl who has a zest for life. Her ideal home would be one that would take her for walks, let her play in the yard and love on her. Want the next obedience star, Dot is your girl- she is wicked smart, so would make training and obedience a breeze. She is dog friendly (previously lived with two others) but we are unsure about kitties. She arrives to Minnesota on 3/6 and would love adopters to pick her up that day to start her new life. All adoptions have a two week trial period to ensure the correct fit for dog and humans!

Requirements: Home with yard space.

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
