Dorris Boston Terrier & American Bulldog Mix Kansas City, MO

Hi, I'm Dorris. I was rescued as a stray. I was hiding under a person's back porch when Chain of Hope came to save me! I was very, very scared. They brought a trap, but they didn't need it! I finally got brave enough and came out to them and boy am I glad I did! They are the nicest people and have shown me what it's like to be loved and cared for!

I weigh about 40 lbs. and I am around 2 yrs old. I've been battling recurring UTI's but the vet is working to get that under control. Other than that I'm a healthy girl. Everyone tells me I have a great personality! I love people so much that I have a tendency to get a little jealous if I have to share them. That's why a home without young kids is probably best for me.

I've been with other dogs but I kind of like being the center of attention so I'd be perfectly content as an only child. I'm a bulldog mix so stubbornness is part of my charm! (Please note the shelter ladies wanted me to mention that the breeds listed for me are just a guess based on my physical characteristics. They said DNA testing isn't in our budget whatever that means.)
