Dori is my new name as I am given the gift of a new start and adored by all the humans I meet. I was found on the streets of Oklahoma looking like I just had pups and nearly starved to death. Thanks to kind people, I’m on the mend!
I LOVE food as you might expect, but it’s a great training tool too. I’m learning to wait my turn, but I can sit, stand on my hind legs, and come when called.
I want to be an only child as I don’t welcome many other dogs in my space. With some time, training, and slow introductions, I’d be open to trying. I’m working on learning not to pull my foster mom down the block on a leash. Some potty training required, but I know not to go in my kennel.
I am an absolute wigglebutt, and if you get me going, I’ll try to show you love with every inch of me. I paw and climb a lot on people, but I just want the love so bad. My foster mom says I have every right not to like humans, but I love them with all my heart and soul.
I’m about 3 years old and weigh around 50lbs at present. I need at least 10 more pounds before I reach a healthy weight. My paperwork says I’m a boxer and my docked tail would agree, but I may have a little extra bully in me too.
