Dori Chihuahua Mix Foster, RI

Dori is a super sweet 10 yr old little lady who weighs less than 10 lbs. Dori has one goal in life and that is to find her person and be their faithful shadow. Her favorite things to do are go for a walk around the yard and snooze on the couch. Dori also loves to play fetch, even in her golden years, if you throw her little toy she will bring it right back to you.

Dori currently fosters with another small dog and several cats she is fine with everyone as long as they are respectful and in return she is happy to share her person and their space. It has been noted in the past that she gets nervous and vocal around men and when she first meets new people. Not sure about children but older children who will pay her some attention should be fine. Small children might cause a little jealousy so we wouldn’t want her to over react. She is house broken and enjoys quiet time in her crate. When bed time comes she is happy to snuggle up for the night.

Dori just got a dental and has a grade 4 heart murmur. She doesn’t take any meds other than some anxiety meds as needed. The murmur would need to be monitored before any medical procedures.

Dori will also need to be spayed and she has a hard mammary cyst that would need to be removed. VPR will cover the costs of the surgery at the adopters vet.
