Meet Dori
Just keep wagging. Just keep wagging. Dori here! I am an adorable 7-month-old, 30-pound Dobermann Pinscher mix girl. I am house trained and will ring a bell to let you know. I am working on my crate training and will do just fine as long as I have a peanut butter kong.
I’m also working on my leash skills and learning new commands, too like "sit", "down", "shake" and "come". I get along fine with other dogs but have some anxiety about new people. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not quite sure how I feel about them. I love kids of all ages, but I am pretty high energy, so bigger kids would probably be best so I don’t accidentally knock the littles down. I do make a great alert dog and can let you know if your teenager arrives after their curfew! My ideal home is with someone who is home quite a bit, has a fenced yard to play in, and has another dog to hang out with, though I would be okay as an only dog. Apartment living will not work for me. I might do okay on the road with a trucker, as long as I have a place where I can play and run off my energy regularly. I love to go on walks and on car rides, and I LOVE to cuddle on the couch! I will just keep wagging and hoping someone will make me part of their family soon. Please fill out an application today!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
