Dora Terrier Mix Gulfport, MS

On October 2nd, 2024, Dora's life changed forever. After wandering the street of Middlecoff Drive, Dora was picked up by Gulfport Animal Control and transported to the Humane Society of South Mississippi. Three days later, her owners came in to look for her and thankfully, she was here! However, there was a turn of events when her owner was required to speak with the City of Gulfport at the police department, and her owner never returned to the shelter for her. Was it a matter of finances? Did they believe she was better off here at the shelter without them? We unfortunately will never know.

Dora is a senior pup who's ready for a new adventure. She's content going on a relaxing walk or just cruising with you in the car down the beach. At her age, she knows the value of a loving home and is eager to trade her kennel for a cozy spot by your side. Dora comes with the perks of seniority: she's already potty trained and knows commands like "sit". She has two sides to her personality-outdoor time is for exploring and taking care of business, while indoor time is all about snuggles and affection.
