Meet Doogie Houser
This cute boy is Doogie Houser!
Doogie is an approximately 3-year old male Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix and weighs around 15 lbs. He was rescued from a local shelter.
Doogie can be a little shy at first, but once he is comfortable with you, he LOVES to run and play and his sweet personality emerges! He is a snuggler when he is through playing and very affectionate. He just needs some time to warm up and get settled in his environment.
Doogie is great with other dogs and would love to have a doggy companion to play with, but he would be okay as an only dog if given plenty of attention and playtime.
Doogie needs a securely-fenced backyard. He has been fine with the children he has met at outreaches, but because he can be a little timid, a home without toddlers would probably be best.
He is crate and leash trained. He is progressing with his house-training (especially if put on a schedule), but will need assistance to continue with his progression.
Doogie is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
