Meet Doobie

Did we just become best friends?!?
Doobie wants to be everyone’s friend! Matter of fact his tail almost never stops wagging. He is such a happy dog. He just wants to be near his people all of the time, and can be very much a lap dog when hanging around the house. At eight years old, some of his favorite things are cuddling, naps, playing tug, chasing his ball, burrowing in blankets, and keeping his yard patrolled, because, well…rabbits. They just really bring out the terrier in him. While doobie is very loyal, it doesn’t stop him from loving to meet new people and other dogs. Now he may take a while to warm up with his fellow canines, but once he determines everything is OK, he will take right off and play! Just by looking at Doobie you would never be able to tell this, but he has diabetes. He is a total champ about it, and his blood glucose is regulated with insulin, diet, and home testing. Doobie can’t wait to meet you and even surprise you with what a fun guy he really is.
