Donny Cocker Spaniel Mix Naperville, IL

Everyone, meet Donnie! Donnie is an extremely sweet, lovable, cocker spaniel mix boy who is seeking his furever home! He is around 4.5 years old and weighs around 25 lbs. We assume Donnie came from a place where he was kept in a cage most of his life, he had a lot of hair loss, was malnourished, and terrified of the outdoors. Now, he loves to sunbathe outside and is officially fully potty trained and also grew almost all of his hair back and os at a very healthy weight! He also has an old fracture in his front left leg, but that does not slow him down one bit! We are still working on leash walking since he still is not 100 % sure of the outdoors. Donnie just wants a home where he will get love and attention. His favorite thing is rubbery chew toys, since he is missing most of his teeth from being a possible cage chewer. He loves to cuddle but can also be very independent and sleep comfortably in his own bed. He is amazing with any person he meets and would love to have a companion to live and play with! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
