Donnie Chow Chow & Australian Shepherd Mix Staten Island, NY

Donnie is a 9 week old chow/aussie shepherd mix. He was fostered with his two sisters and enjoys playing and sleeping with them. He is a sweet and energetic puppy who does well when he is able to run around his pen with his litter mates and when he can practice learning new tricks like sit and stay. Donnie would do well in a home with someone who could spend time with him during the day but he does not require constant attention as long as he has a toy to play with, or in the case of his foster home, one of his sisters around. Donnie does not mind being held and enjoys cuddling with his human foster parents but much prefers to be in his pen with his litter mates. He is very quick to learn new tricks and listens very well when asked not to do something. He definitely seems to enjoy running around the apartment and would do well with someone who lives an active lifestyle. He has been almost flawlessly using wee wee pads indoors and has gotten much more comfortable with his surroundings and his owners in just a few short days.
