3-year-old female Chihuahua mix, about 10 pounds. Dona Florinda is a very sweet, cuddly and loving girl. She is a tad shy with unfamiliar humans but warms up quickly. Florinda is very well-behaved and self-contained, but she will love to be with her people. She is pretty easy to handle and has bursts of energy when she plays with dog toys. But in general, she is a calm and quiet dog. She will be happy to be an only dog but also will do well with other small dogs. Dona Florinda will do best in a home with older, respectable children or with an adult only home. Cats are unknown. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments.
