Dolly is an 8.5 year old lady that has spent her entire life producing puppies. She received little to no vet care or kindness in her life prior to coming to Leia's Hope.

Dolly is still learning to trust people and will run from her person. She is learning a lot from her canine foster siblings but this hurdle just takes time. She loves dog beds and she will roll around in her bed and you will see the pure joy on her little smushy face. She enjoys the company of other dogs and will need another dog in the home to continue to learn from.

Dolly had received little or any vet care when she arrived with us. Her teeth were in terrible shape and had rotted and decayed part of her bottom jaw. She saw a doggy special dentist and a wire was put in her mouth to fix her jaw. The wire has been removed and her dental is complete! She eats without any issue and is enjoying having a mouth not in pain!

Dolly has not had the best life but we want to change that for her. She deserves a home that will love her and be patient with her insecurities. Someone who will ensure she NEVER has to go without vet care and always be taken care of.

Dolly's adoption fee is $275. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on flea and heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.

WE DO ADOPT OUT OF THE AREA, HOWEVER, WE DO NOT SHIP NOR ARRANGE TRANSPORTS. YOU WILL HAVE TO COME TO DECATUR, IL TO MEET THE DOG. IF FLYING, DOGS MUST FLY IN THE CABIN AND THE EXPENSE OF THE HEALTH CERTIFICATE IS ON THE ADOPTER.

THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS.

IT CAN TAKE AT LEAST 7 DAYS TO PROCESS AN APPLICATION SOMETIMES LONGER DEPENDING ON VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY AND NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED SO PLEASE BE PATIENT AS WE ARE VOLUNTEERS WITH FAMILIES AND FULL TIME JOBS AND DOGS OF OUR OWN TO CARE FOR.
