We knew in an instant that she deserved a second chance, and we were determined to be the ones to give it to her.<br/><br/>Since arriving at the sanctuary, Dolly has truly blossomed. With patience, tenderness, and the comfort of safety, she’s transformed into a joyful, thriving girl who is finally ready to find her forever home. Dolly is currently in a professional board and train program with our wonderful partners at Connected Canines, where she’s learning skills that will help her feel confident and secure in a loving home. Her trainers are absolutely smitten—one even jokes that Dolly gives them “heart eyes” every day.<br/><br/>At 6 years old, Dolly is a calm, loving Pitbull mix with a quiet spirit and the gentlest heart. She is fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped—and she carries herself with a soft grace that immediately draws people in. Dolly is one of those dogs who simply feels like home. She greets her people with a tender gaze, a slow wag of her tail, and what we affectionately call her “cold kisses”—gentle little nuzzles that melt hearts on contact.
