Dolly is a people-loving pup who absolutely thrives in human company. She’s quick to bond, always eager for affection, and has a knack for reading the room—whether it’s time for a walk, a snuggle, or a quiet moment. While she can be selective about her canine companions, Dolly has shared joyful playtime with larger, boisterous dogs and may do well with the right doggie friend.
Shelter life has been tough on Dolly. She gets anxious in her kennel and has developed a quirky habit of mouthing her leash during walks—turning frustration into fun by “walking” herself. It’s a charming sight that never fails to earn smiles!
Despite the stress of shelter life, Dolly remains a star. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative (after successfully completing treatment), and keeps a very tidy kennel—a great sign she’ll pick up on housetraining quickly in a home environment.
She shines outside the shelter: Dolly adores car rides, park outings, and visits to pet stores. She’s also done well with children she's met, showing a playful spirit that settles down beautifully once she’s out of the shelter’s high-stress environment.
