Meet Dolly - a 4 yr 13 lb chi/terrier mix, who was easily housebroken with regular routine & once housebroken is trustworthy in house, no crate necessary. no separation or destructive behavior. Dolly has lived with a dog and good with cats and children as noted from owner. She is slow to warm with new experiences and would need patience while adjusting to her new surrounding. She has no aggression with food. She does like her toys and will protect from other canine. Not a fan of car rides. She loves to be near her person & is good on leash, but does need someone who isn't in a hurry or has time restraints. She loves to sniff around and find her perfect spot to do her thing. Dolly is low key energy but does like to chase her toys and bring them back. She is easily startled by Loud noises and sudden movement so Young children may not be ideal.
Available now under a foster to adopt contract; agreeing to be responsible to get her to a scheduled vet appointment on 11/2/22

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
