Hazel American Staffordshire Terrier & Cattle Dog Mix Lafayette, CA

Meet sweet little hazel, the 10-week-old tri-color mutt pup! Hazel is a wigglepants with the cutest markings. Our best guess is that she's some sort of cattle dog/pittie mix, and based on her current age and weight, we expect she will likely be over 50 lbs when full-grown. Hazel came to us from a Central Valley shelter, which is no place for a sweet puppy! She is now thriving in foster in the Bay Area, fostered with other dogs and doing great! Hazel will need an active family committed to her success, including formal and ongoing training and socialization to ensure she grows up to be the best dog she can be. She is doing well working on house and crate training.

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. Our dogs are in foster homes across the Bay Area.

The first step of the process is to submit an application (link below) in order to set up a meet and greet or talk with the foster family. Once the application is submitted, the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit, and can also answer any further questions. The application answers most of our questions in order to best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for, we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your application to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/Neutered, Microchipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $300 which is considered a non-refundable donation.
