Meet D'Ogey (sweet & shy senior, special needs, age 14)
This little guy is smart, sweet, and energetic. He'd make a wonderful family dog for kids who are properly taught how to treat animals. Seized in east Texas from an abusive alcoholic owner, D'Ogy has acclimated to a calm home environment rather quickly. He absolutely loves to play with toys, and doesn't tear them up. He's mostly housebroken, current on shots, gets along with other dogs & cats (though seemingly scared of them at first), minds really well, and loves to cuddle close for affection and kisses. He has a somewhat short, wirey coat that's black and tan; his is a shedder, though. Due to his past abuse, he's initially a little timid with men-- but will warm up with gentleness and affection.
