DOG OF THE MONTH! Labrador Retriever Mix Danbury, CT

This handsome boy is Shawn and he is our Dog of the Month for June! If you adopt Shawn this month, his adoption fee is reduced by 25%. He is 18-months-old and weighs 36 lb. With his sleek black coat and his curly-Q tail, our best breed guess is lab mixed with a little bit of shiba inu. Shawn is an incredibly smart and friendly dog who has already learned so much at DAWS. He is very food motivated so training is fun with Shawn. He is happy to greet any person that he sees on a walk with a wagging tail and big goofy smile. Shawn rides great in the car. He has medium energy when on walks and loves to play with and carry sticks. Shawn would do best in a home with teens and up and he would love a doggie playmate to share his home with! Shawn says "I like walks in the woods, chewing on sticks and being someone's buddy!" Shawn is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to go home now!
