Meet Dodi! Dodi is listed as a 55 pound neutered Pointer terrier mix and is about one year old. Dodi has a very sweet soul! He's great in the car and walks nicely with a loose leash. Dodi wants to be a friend to all and loves to play, so may pull a little to meet a new friend. He sits nicely when told, and seems to know lay down also. Dodi is a people pleaser and does not want to disappoint!! When his foster mom is scolding the two-legged kids, Dodi lays down quietly making sure he's staying out of trouble. Although, he does like to walk around with his foster mom's shoe once in a while! Dodi is quiet in his crate and does well with a potty routine. He has had a few accidents in his first few days, however with food and water ending at night, he does well going potty outside. Dodi loves to lay with a toy, a long lasting chew, or even snuggled on your lap. He's a gentle boy who's good with dogs and kids. He's not a jumper and has pretty good manners for a young pup! Dodi shares his chews, food, and toys nicely with his furry foster sister. This sweet boy is sure to make any family complete!

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- www.luckymuttsrescue.org and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. PLEASE make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application.  We strive to process all applications in a timely manner.  You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions.  Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email.  Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for.  Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center.   Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants. WE REQUIRE ALL MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD TO BE PRESENT AT ANY MEET AND GREET. This  includes any current dogs in the home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers: spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6  months) and a certified veterinary inspection.

 Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, as we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements.   Approved applicants not chosen for the dog  applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months.  We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.  Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number.  Please be patient with us, as Lucky Mutts Rescue is run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full time jobs, have families and also foster dogs.
