Meet Dodger

Dodger is a 1-year old, 35 male Shepherd mixed breed.

Dodger is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home.

Hi! I'm Dodger. I think they call me that because I dodged some trouble when I ended up at animal control when I was a stray. But someone saw my potential and I went to live in a foster home. I really like it here - lots of toys, doggy friends, some cats too, and even a few chickens. I love to play so I really enjoy when they throw the ball (have not caught on that I need to return it! haha) I also love going on walks; I used to pull a lot but my foster family worked with me and I'm much better now. I'm definitely an energetic guy, so if you like to hike or run or play frisbee, I'm your pup! I'm crate trained and potty trained too, so I'm ready. I'm a little mouthy at times, maybe because I'm young or didn't have much training before, but again, my foster family is working with me to resolve that. I think I would be better with older kids than with the little guys, but I do like kids in general. I would love to find my very own home with a backyard I can zoom around in when the urge strikes, plus a person or family that will take me hiking in the woods, or for a run on the shore by the lake. Then we can return home, both of us tired and happy, and I can take a nice long nap. That is my dream, so I hope it's your dream too. Let's get together and make our dreams come true!
