Meet Dobby

Dobby is a super sweet 4(ish) year old boy that was abandoned by his “family”. We say “family” because Dobby was always allowed to wander around the neighborhood. Neighbors recently discovered that his owners had moved away and left him behind- I guess his owners figured if he had been a neighborhood dog his whole life, the neighbors would keep taking care of him if they left him behind. Unfortunately, lately he’s been going to try to play with some neighbor dogs that don’t like him. This is causing some scuffles (that Dobby is NOT starting) and those neighbors have called animal control.
Some kind neighbors who have been caring for him over the years reached out to us because they love Dobby but aren’t in a position to keep him. As you can see in the pictures, he ADORES their children. They said that if he hears their kids outside, he comes to hang out with them… he’s been doing that since he was about 6 months old. He also loves their small dogs.
