Dizzy is one big, happy boy! He weighs in at 65 pounds and we think he is 1-2 years old. He came to us as a transfer from another shelter so unfortunately we have no real history. We did hear that he got into scuffles with other male dogs although since being here at HAL we have not had any issues thus far. He can be selective with males but is currently in a play group with two other male dogs. However in his new home his companion should be female. He would NOT be a dog park dog due to being selective of male dogs in his space. Dizzy is very friendly, out-going and treat-motivated. He walks well on leash and keeps his kennel clean here. He loves to play ball and with rope toys. He would make a very affectionate, loyal companion and is very tolerant. He would NOT be a dog park dog due to being selective of male dogs in his space. He would be happy in a home where he could play for hours with his people in a fenced back yard. Long walks would be best if they were not in crowded places, so city life could be problematic. This handsome boy wants to be close to his people and that's what really makes him happy. We recommend that he goes to a home with older kiddos only 10+ since he really does not know his own strength or size. No kitties, please. Please research POSITIVE training techniques before applying to adopt. We care very much about your application answers and they are reviewed for completeness and the best match.
His adoption fee of $175.00 includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, vet visit, offer of pet health insurance, and engraved ID tag.
