We know this adorable face caught your eye! Now let us tell you more about this awesome pup. DIXON's birthday is January 3, 2021 and his estimated adult weight is 45-50lbs.

Playful, Confident, Happy! DIXON is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. He lives in a foster home that includes a foster dad, foster mom and 2 teenagers and he loves them all. He is well socialized and always happy to greet new faces with a wagging tail and lots of puppy kisses. His foster home also includes 3 dogs, one being his handsome littermate, Montgomery. DIXON loves playtime with his furry friends! He is always up for a game of tug-a-war or chasing toys and balls.

DIXON is working hard on his house-training skills. His adoptive family should be prepared to take him out on a consistent schedule. DIXON is also crate-trained. He stays in the crate to sleep at night and when his foster family is out of the home for errands or for short periods during the day to nap. He settles well when it's time for some downtime and has perfected his snuggle skills.

DIXON is treat motivated, which helps greatly with training. He takes treats gently from the hand. He is not food aggressive and does not resource guard - he will allow you to take toys and food away from him.

We would like his forever family to invest in training, as all puppies benefit from a structure training program. DIXON is still a puppy and patience will be needed. To meet this little guy is to love him - he is a wonderful pup and will make a fantastic addition to a very lucky family.

DIXON is a baby (born January 3, 2021) and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. He will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce him to a variety of safe activities and experiences so he can be comfortable in the world.

While we never had the pleasure of meeting Baby Daddy, Mom, MAYA, is a great size of 41 pounds. However, DIXON may grow to be smaller, the same size, or larger, at adulthood and with a similar or different "look."

Puppies are immunized on a strict vet recommended schedule, and DIXON's forever family will be required, at their own expense, to complete the puppy immunization schedule, including rabies, if placed in your home prior to the schedule being completed. Adopters are provided with current vetting records to provide to their personal vet, and we will confirm that you DO complete that vetting schedule in a timely manner, including the purchase of monthly preventatives (flea & heart worm). DIXON will be neutered & microchipped before being placed in his forever home.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
