Meet Dixie II
This little gal is named Dixie II (we have another Dixie in house). Her paperwork says she is a lab mix - but we don't buy that at all. She may have some heeler in her but whatever it is - it is not very big - well under 30 lbs. at 6 months old.
Right now she is 100% terrified being at the shelter. We are working with her every day and she is doing better with some of the staff. She has not had life easy - she is severely malnourished and we are working on that but she isn't a great eater.
She does appear to be housebroken. She is good with other dogs but scared of them. She does not know how to play. She has no clue what toys are all about.
Her eyes tell a very sad story I am afraid.
