Dixie Hound Mix Camp Pendleton, CA

Dixie is a lovely girl, 3 years old, and has the most beautiful dark brown eyes. She has that "Field & Stream" kind of look to her, don't you think? She came to the shelter as a stray dog, and no one came to find her, so here she is, dreaming of a new loving forever home. She knows the commands sit and down, and likes a tasty treat as a reward. Dixie LOVES to play fetch, so if you have kids that need to burn off some energy, Dixie is willing to help! She doesn't care about other dogs at a distance, and she's sometimes picky about which dogs are "in her space" so she might do best as the only dog at home. She's an energetic girl who would make a great jogging or walking partner too.

The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee $110.
