Dixie Pit Bull Terrier & American Bully Mix Missoula, MT

Meet Dixie! Dixie was rescued off the streets of Houston, Texas where she was dumped as a pregnant mom. She had her babies near a person's house, who gave them all away, and then wanted rid of her. Humans have failed Dixie so much in her short life.

We think she is approximately 2-3 years old and 40 lbs. She is 100% cute and sweet. We call her our little "short stack" because she is very short and "compact". ha.

Dixie is a very sweet and happy girl. She is very friendly and loves making new friends. She loves to greet you and enjoys her crate time (which she will happily go to when told) content to play with her stuffies. Need help cleaning? She will collect any and all stuffies lying around and bring them to her crate. She will also bring them out to proudly display them to you. She is so sweet and just wants to be loved.

She is one of the happiest dogs I've met, especially considering her past. Her tail never stops wagging and she is always up for pets. She will snuggle right into you, flip herself over and request belly rubs (or as we call them....belly rooooobbbs)! She loves her belly rubs and will gaze up at you with a big smile while you rub!!

Her ideal family would likely be one where she has one or two other dogs around her size or bigger to play with. She is very smart and knows some basic commands. She listens well and is great for car rides and enjoying a nice outdoor restaurant/patio. She enjoys sunbathing in the yard.

Dixie is just the best little pup. She was such a good, young mama. It's her turn to have a great family where she can enjoy just being a good pup and getting tons of attention (and don't forget the belly rubs)! Won't you consider adopting Dixie today?
