Dixie Hound Mix Aurora, IL

Meet Dixie, she is an approx. 4 year old hound mix. She somewhat looks like a brown beagle. She weighs about 40 pounds and due to her age, she should not get much bigger. Dixie came to Rover Rescue from a shelter where she and her two pups were found as strays. Dixie so far seems like a nice quieter girl who loves people. She is ok with other dogs but I think she wouldn't mind being the only canine in the home to get all the love and attention. Another foster dog is here who is younger and much more active and she really does not like her jumping on her. She goes into her crate easily and just quietly lays down and takes everything in going on around her. I also think she wouldn't mind a more quieter home seeing that is her personality. She is housetrained. Dixie is a nice girl who will be spayed this week and will be up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
