Dixie is an 8yr old Golden Retriever who came to rescue as a breeder release. Dixie does suffer from some severe social anxiety but is slowly warming up to people, and learning how to be a dog in a normal household setting. She will need a lot of patience and understanding, Dixie is not a fan of cuddles and attention right now but has the potential to warm up. Her forever home will require a fenced in backyard, and a confident/calm resident dog to help with her social anxiety yet not overwhelm her. Dixie likely will not do well at a dog park or in a loud/busy environment.
