Meet Dixie
DIXIE has had a long road to recovery. This mama came to us after giving birth at only 40lb. She should be 70lb, if not more. She has gained about 20lb and is with a medical foster who will help her get back up to a healthy weight. She is a sweet young adult who raised her babies and is now ready for her forever. Dixie would do best in an active household as the only dog. She has been OK with another submissive, male dog.
Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England. Applications must be submitted at HarveysHope.org for consideration. We estimate it will be 1-2 weeks before you hear from one of our volunteers. Thank you!
