This gorgeous young lady is Dixie. Her mom was a basset hound/heeler mix, and we think it is safe to say that dad was a chocolate lab. Although all of Dixie's brothers are short-statured like their basset mama, Dixie seems to have daddy's long legs and will be the tallest of the bunch. We still think Dixie will only be in the 40-45 pound range when full grown.

Dixie is as sweet as she is beautiful. She is an absolute doll that loves attention and belly rubs from her foster parents. She is very playful and gentle and loves men, women, kids and other dogs.
