Disco Black Mouth Cur Mix Hopkinton, MA

Meet Disco! Disco is around 5 months old, and looks like a he has some Black Mouth Cur in his mix! In his foster home, Disco is working on his house-training and does OK in the crate. He love to play with other dogs, but also could be an only dog with people who will give him regular exercise. He could go to a home with respectful kids and dog savvy cats.

In addition, adopters should be home for the majority of the day (including post-pandemic) and have a positive reinforcement trainer picked out to enroll their dog with. Force-free training classes/sessions are required for all adopted dogs in order to set them and their new families up for success. Adopters should be prepared to continue their dog's socialization and experiences with new people, places, and things, as well as expect to help them fine tune any previous training.

His foster says, "He is very sweet. Learns quickly. He is respectful of the dogs who live here. He never barks or growls at them. He loves to be held, petted and scratched. He likes to have his people with him. He does not jump. He will occasionally put his feet on you, but gets down when told. He carries items around, but does not chew on them. He is not mouthy. He does play a little bitey mouth with older dog. He had recently had a couple of play dates with a bigger puppy and has come home exhausted. He and all the other dogs jump up to greet anyone who comes to the door, barking all the while. At this time, he has to be assisted to get into the car, but rides well once he is in."
