Sweet Senior Alert!

Dino is the sweetest, friendliest, most fabulous 75 lbs Chocolate Lab. We were told he is approximately 10 yrs old; however, a local vet believes he is closer to 8 years old and that makes a lot more sense with his spunky personality! His foster family says he loves everyone and everything; he is so chill and just happy to go with the flow. Dino is great with all people and with other dogs. Dino knows he's been rescued and he plans to spend every single day showing his furever people just how grateful and happy he is!

He is such a good boy, I’m so glad he’s with us! Some info: Still has spunk even though he’s 10- he definitely acts younger. Loves to play outside but also loves to snuggle when he’s inside. Settles down quickly in the crate. House trained, no accidents yet. Great with other dogs, just kinda coexists peacefully with them instead of being all in their business, sleeps through the whole night. Dino LOVES his walks, he will pull on the leash if he sees something of interest. He does the Labby hello of jumping up to greet you because he's so happy to see you, so best with ages 8 and up unless dog savvy.

We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well-care visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, and tickborne tests, as well as regular monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
You MUST contact your veterinarian’s office to give them permission to speak to us BEFORE we call them to verify the care you have provided for your pets.
Puppies cannot be crated for more than their age in months plus 1 hour. (Example: 2-month-old puppies cannot be crated for longer than 3 hours at a time-maximum.) Regular potty breaks will be needed to house-train your puppy as well as for socialization/exercise. Please have a plan for these regular potty breaks and let us know what these arrangements will be when you apply.

If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). PLEASE CHECK your SPAM folder for emails from Puppy Paws Rescue.
Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame. Our rescue is an all-volunteer team managing families, our paying jobs, households, foster dogs, application processing, interviews, home visits, follow-up, transports, and much more. We ask that you are courteous and patient with us.
