Hi, I’m Dino! I am a 5-year-old outdoor-loving guy who loves adventure. The big adventure I am currently on? Finding my forever home! I thought a great way to start would be to tell you a little more about me.

I love making new friends, especially dog friends. I have gotten to hang out with dogs with lots of energy, dogs that prefer to just hang out and chill, and dogs in the middle. I had a great time hanging out with all of them and am excited to make even more friends. Speaking of friends, I tried to make friends with a dog-savvy cat. I don’t think it liked me very much because when I was doing my sniff hello it made this weird hissing noise, so I left it alone. Even though this one didn’t want to be my friend, I am still open to the idea of having a cat in the family.

I love to learn! Every day I get to do these fun puzzles filled with treats – ooh, it’s the best! And my foster is teaching me tricks and now that I use a gentle leader, my walking manners are pretty dang good if I do say so myself.

Now that it is summer, I am really looking forward to going on lots of adventures – maybe some hiking or paddle boarding – you have to paddle though because I have zero thumbs – or whatever you enjoy doing, I am happy to join in!

I asked my foster to describe me in three words… “sweet, well-behaved, vibrant”! And me and my vibrant personality are excited to find a single-family home with a yard. I love having some space to really stretch my legs and smell all the good things and run around. And I learned this new game, “fetch” – love it!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
