Diffie Pit Bull Terrier & Labrador Retriever Mix Twin Falls, ID

Hi, my name is Diffie! I was named after the late and great Joe Diffie. I am a VERY sweet guy, but boy, am I big and goofy. I think I am a lap dog because, well, aren’t I?! I love to snuggle and give hugs, and follow you through the house. I am doing really well with my potty training, and know how to use a dog door. I am also crate trained. I love to be active! I could be the perfect hiking partner if you’ll have me. I am learning how to walk like a gentleman on a leash.
Although I was raised with cats and children from the time I was just a little pup, I do forget my size and strength sometimes and can overwhelm the little beings. My littlest foster brother is working on slow and calm movements because my puppy brain is super reactive to fast and loud things, and my foster mom is teaching me my manners and how to stay calm when those sneaky kittens dart across the floor. I am very food motivated. With continued training, I might do really well in a house with smaller children and cats, but my foster mom says it might be in my best interest if my kids were older and my cats were older and dog smart, or if there just were no cats. I do really well with other dogs and will prefer a family that has another big dog for me to play with.
My foster mom wants you to know that I am extremely adorable, but I will be HUGE. I am only 4.5 months old and already almost as big as my boxer sister at 46lbs. Please take my size into consideration when making the decision to bring me into your family.**
