Looking for a sweet, social, and awesome little companion? You need to meet Differential! Differential is an excellent example of why you should never judge a book by its cover. Differential was rescued as a stray in Mexico with what they initially thought was a jaw fracture. After consulting with a vet and x-rays, it was discovered that Differential is actually missing a part of his jaw. Despite this, he eats solid foods and drinks water like any other dog. His tongue just hangs out and makes more of an appearance than average. If you ask us, we think the rogue tongue and mad scientist hairdo is a hilariously adorable and endearing combo! After being at TBL for a handful of months with no luck at finding his forever family, Differential just went into foster care Labor Day Weekend 2018 and he was an instant hit! The transition was incredibly easy and his foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about this goofy pup. Differential, or Diffy as he has been affectionate dubbed, is an absolute angel in a home environment. He has an outgoing, happy, mellow, affectionate, playful, pleasing, laidback and loving personality. Diffy is absolutely perfect with other dogs, cats, adults, and kids alike. He lives in a foster home with a 7 and 10-year-old who love to brush him. He recently enjoyed a family group hike and trotted happily alongside a stroller without issue. Diffy is housebroken and crate trained, and within 24 hours of being shown his crate, he now goes in there to nap on his own throughout the day. Though he has not had any accidents inside the house, he does like to mark outside. He enjoys watering as many bushes as he can during walks around the neighborhood. Diffy is very food motivated, and will sit on his hind legs and imitate a meerkat when he is shown a treat. He likes to chase after balls and squeaky toys, and loves to make himself comfortable in someone’s lap while getting his ears scratched. Diffy is about 16 pounds, 5 years old, and he is a very gentle, even-keeled pup. He is content to nap in his doggie bed or crate while you binge watch your favorite Netflix shows.
