Diesel [REDUCED ADOPTION FEE] Retriever & Plott Hound Mix Smithfield, NC

Diesel is a 5 year Retriever/Plott hound mixed breed. Diesel absolutely loves being with people. Wherever his peeps are, Diesel is not far behind. He will lay down in any room as long as someone is there. He loves to cuddle with you on the sofa or bed.

Diesel is very calm and very happy to see you come home. However if you take Diesel outside he will wander away and smell everything. So a fence would be a good idea. Diesel does not need a crate and he will just sleep all day waiting on you to return to love on him. Diesel is trained to go outside to do his business. He is just a really sweet and loving dog. Diesel has used a crate but he will pull on the bars to get out while you are gone. Diesel is a great family pet. He is so appreciative of being with people who love him. We love Diesel's sweet gentle kisses!!

Diesel came into the league as a heartworm positive and he has been treated and has recovered nicely.
Diesel has SPONSORSHIP and grant money that supplemented his treatment and adoption fees.
