Meet Diesel
MARR covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Diesel is being fostered in KS currently. However, transportation is available for adoptions within our coverage area.
Diesel is a fun loving young energetic guy. He loves to play and run and have fun in the sun all day. He's adapted very well to being put quickly into an uncertain situation after his mom suddenly passed. He was unsure and stressed but trusted easily and you could tell his mom loved him and took good care of him. His foster mom says he is a very quick study and learns new things, boundaries and routines easily.
He will do best in a home with options for physical activities and brain games. He is good with children, however no small dogs or cats are recommended as he does appear to have a prey drive. He has been big dog tested and did well. Older children recommended just due to his puppy like energy at times and he does still have a tendency to be mouthy although he sees it as fun and games. He loves toys and bones and does not have any destructive tendencies from what his foster home can tell. He walks well on a leash other than becoming a bit reactive but is easily redirected. All in all he is a very good boy and is hoping to find a family to call his forever home.
