Diesel is a 5 year-old, 16 lb, neutered, heartworm-negative Eskie boy. He is very challenging and spicy (think Habanero pepper)! Once trust has been earned and he bonds with you (this will not happen overnight!), he is incredibly devoted and loyal - you can do anything with him. Diesel really needs a person who is breed savvy and good with suspicious, skeptical dogs… He comes around in his own time, and is an angel once that happens. Not recommended for households with children, multi homes dwellings, or people who have a lot of visitors coming and going. A quiet, predictable, structured environment will do a lot to put Mr. Diesel at ease.
The adoption donation is $350 and includes a general vet exam, neuter surgery, heartworm testing and/or treatment (as necessary), shots, microchip, and worming. Experienced dog ownership and credible vet references are required in order to adopt from HER.
