BIO: Hi there, please meet Diesel. Diesel was found running loose a few weeks ago. After checking to make sure that no one was looking for him, the people that found him decided to surrender him to us so that he could get a loving forever home. Diesel was a filthy, scared, malnourished bag of bones when we took him in. He was infested with worms and after being on antibiotics and worm medicine for a couple of weeks, he now has a clean bill of health and is looking for his forever home. Diesel is crate-trained and house-trained. Because he is so bouncy and energetic, he would be best suited with at least a 30-50# canine playmate. Small dogs make him very nervous and he appears to be afraid of them. Diesel is very loving and easily trainable. Also because of his age and bounciness, he would be best suited with children at least 10 years of age or older. Diesel is UTD on all vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and micro-chipped with a lifetime registration. So if you are looking for a loving and loyal companion to enhance the love in your family – Diesel could be just what you are looking for. He walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Diesel is currently being fostered in Almont, MI. You MUST have a completely fenced and secure yard in order to adopt any of our rescues. We don’t feel Diesel would do well with cats because he is a little too interested in playing roughly with them.
