4 months old, male, Shepherd Mix
Meet Diego! He was found as a stray in Riverton and ended up in the shelter before being transferred to us! Diego is a happy and friendly puppy who has already gone through the first stages of puppyhood and is growing up into a gorgeous and sweet dog. He loves other dogs and gets along well with kitties too. He's going to be a md/lg dog and an excellent adventure partner in the mountains! He's been with us since he was just 10 weeks old and has somehow yet to be scooped up! Don't miss out on this good boy. He can't wait to meet you!
Thinking of adopting a puppy? Please consider the amount of time and attention that will need to be dedicated to raising a dog from puppyhood. Committing time every day to helping them to learn to love the world around them i.e. people, animals, sights, sounds, smells, objects etc is of the utmost importance to raising a well adjusted dog. Puppies that are not well socialized to the world around them can develop fear and anxiety later in life. Before considering adopting a puppy please make sure that you have the time and patience to dedicate to a puppy!
THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 email@example.com
Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
