Dickens Chihuahua Mix Schaumburg, IL

Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend—and, as it happens, so am I! Let me tell you a little about myself.

My name is Dickens and I am a handsome 8 year-old Chihuahua that weighs only 11 pounds. I love food so much that I’m not sure how I stay so fit and trim. It must be the exercise I get jumping for insects in the yard, playing fetch, or the walks in the neighborhood with my foster family. I do love being active. I also enjoy playing with squeaky toys. So much so that it is hard for a pint-size pup like me to share with other dogs. I would do best in a house where I’m the only lap warmer.

I hate to brag, but I know ‘sit’, ‘wait’, and ‘come’ on command! I’m playful but I can also be chill. I love, love, love attention—belly rubs and ear scratches are my favorite. I settle down quickly in my crate, and I’m doing well with house training; only having an occasional accident when I'm not kept on a schedule.

My perfect match is someone looking for a sidekick to be a very loyal companion. I’d love nothing more than to be napping by your side waiting for our next adventure together. Please come and meet me to see if we’re a good match!
