Diamond's Story

Diamond is a small 20lb cattle dog mix looking for a forever home. Diamond was surrendered to a local shelter and terrified of everything. In the month that she has been in foster she has blossomed into a spunky playful pup. Though, she still has reservations about being loved on or petted by humans, she loves to play with other dogs and go for walks.
Diamond's ideal home would be relatively calm and quiet, with a patient family who will allow her the space to open up on her own and use positive encouragement to teach her that humans are not scary. Diamond would thrive in a home with another younger, playful, confident dog who can teach her the ropes.
Diamond is also crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She is treat motivated and learns great with routine and positive reinforcement training.

All of our dogs at New Start K9 are vaccinated, microchipped and fixed prior to adoption.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website. Because all of our dogs are in foster homes, we will require an approved application prior to setting up a meet-and-greet.
