Diamond's Story

5 yr old Diamond is in need of a new home because her family was moving and going through a lot of personal issues and not able to give her the life she deserves. She is an absolute sweetheart with so much love to give! She previously lived with a smaller dog and children as well.

Her former family says this about her..."Diamond is a very loving, kind, big baby! She lived with us since she was 8 weeks old. Diamond is a lover and very docile.
She can be hyper at times when she’s getting love from her humans or humans visiting her humans, but I say all of this to say, whoever decides to adopt her please do it from and with purity of your heart & intentions. Please love her, please give her hugs, kisses. Car rides. Even walking. Buy her those chew toys that she will tear up lol, have patience with her, and give her the best life as I gave her before she was given up. Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland's Adoption Policy
Why adopt a Senior Dog? Experienced, housebroken, settled down, loving and lovable, good with children, excellent company, non-judgemental - we could go on but you get the picture. Exceptions to everything listed? Sure, but all in all an experience you will never regret. First, come visit the dogs that interest you; we are open, by appointment, every day of the week from 10-3. Then complete our Adoption Application, which asks for personal references, your animals' Vet, information about your home environment and your agreement to allow us to do a home visit. Once approved, we will do a meet and greet with your family - including your four-legged family members. If all goes well, you welcome your pup into your home and your heart and you all become members of our extended Senior Dog Sanctuary family!
