Diamond Terrier Mix Campbell, CA

This is Diamond. She is a 5 yr old terrier mix and weighs about 12 lbs. We rescued Diamond from the shelter where she was very scared. Based on her condition, we think she had a pretty rough life. She showed signs of recently having puppies and had hair loss and thickened skin around the base of her tail and her back legs. She had fleas and ticks. The vet said her skin condition was from an allergic reaction to the flea bites. After some TLC, flea treatment and regular baths, Diamond is healing up nicely, has regained confidence, and is running around the house wagging her tail. She is now ready to find a new home that will pamper her. She is sweet and cuddly and also likes to play with soft toys. She is pretty quiet and only barks if someone comes to the door. She enjoys daily walks and does well on leash. If her new family has kids, it would be best if they were 8 or older. Diamond could live with another playful small dog or as an only dog.
